Welcome to Magari Domani

I went out for a walk, and finally concluded to stay out until sundown,

for going out, I found, was really going in - JOHN MUIR

Retreat to our escape and experience a true taste of Italy at its most serene.

A renovated traditional farmhouse, set in 30 acres of grounds, Magari Domani offers luxury accommodation for up to 9 guests in an enchanting, rural location.

Sat quietly amongst oak, chestnut and pine on the western slopes of Monte D'Aria, fringed by perfume from the gorse, lavender and rosemary bushes. A bluff spur at the head of the Vegenana valley with mesmerising 360 views. South and West to the Alta valley and the mountains beyond, framing the border between Le Marche and Umbria, and channeling the roman Via Flaminia and the route to the eternal city. Views North to the bell tower of Santa Barbara in the nearby hamlet of Crispiero, home to a reknowned Castagnata (chestnut festival) and East to the woods of Monte D'Aria and its observatory.

Only minutes along the ridgeline from the fortified medieval university town of Camerino.  Once the regional stronghold of the Da Varano and Borgia families. Or fifteen minutes in the opposite direction drop down the edge of the Vegenana valley into the small market town of Castelraimondo and its striking Cassero, a Da Varano watchtower.

The perfect base from which to indulge.

Whether your indulgence is a great book with a large glass of chilled verdicchio and a lounger beside the pool, an adrenaline-fuelled mountain bike scramble down the sides of the Serrapatrona valley, or it is embracing the opportunity to get totally lost meandering the narrrow streets of hidden hilltop towns to discover a rarely seen Madonna and Child.

However you choose to use Magari Domani, it's a stunning place with enough space and all the facilities needed to be as solitary or sociable as you desire.

An awesome couple of weeks!

Our third time here and our stay was just as good this time around! We had an awesome couple of weeks. We did venture further afield this time and loved our long day in Urbino - what a place. Of course, for the majority of the time we simply moved the short distances between the house, its loggia and the pool….it was blissfully exhausting doing absolutely nothing and this is such a great place to indulge like that. Thanks again!
